It was the best of times, it was the worst of times but it was our time. We The FEW added our page to the history of the Marine Corps and lived in the tradition of those that came before us. Many of us stood as the silent sentinals of freedom , standing strong and ready to march to the beat of the drums. Others were called by the trumpets of war. They embarked on their mission secure in the support of their fellow Marines. Much has been said about us but no one can ever say that we did not stand proud in the service of our country nor can they say that our brothers did not bleed enough or die enough . It is said we all fought our own wars and in that there is much truth but we fought those wars together in the true spirit of
